What I did was I tried to take various parts of the sound wave synth and put them together but it made only one sound and I didn't really know how to put them together to make a sound that I really liked. I experimented with the sounds and came up with something I thought was a creative idea for the project. I also experimented with other sounds that I thought would be useful for the project and would go with the synth waves.
